Graduate Tutor Introduction to Xiaokai Chen

Xiaokai Chen

Male, associate professor, PhD, Hunan hometown. Responsible for Built Environment Innovation Team (BEIT), hosted 7 projects, authorized 5 patents, edited and participated 4 books, published over 20 papers. Has been working at Kunming University of Science and Technology (KUST) since February 2012, and obtained HVAC PhD of Hunan University in December 2011. et al.

Talent training

Two students were guided to obtain excellent master's theses in KUST, and one first prize and five third prizes were awarded CSSTC of China Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Industry. The graduate students signed contracts with companies such as China Construction Group, China Railway Group, Quality Supervision Station of Kunming Housing and Urban Rural Development Bureau, Yunnan Construction Investment Group, BYD, etc. Excellent students from our research group (BEIT) can be recommended to pursue further studies at top universities such as Tsinghua University, Hunan University, and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, et al.

Academic part-time jobs and social services

Currently serving as communication review expert for NSFC projects, and evaluation expert for graduate thesis and undergraduate graduation design of Education Ministry; a CASE senior member, a BTPB committee of CSA, an IEHB youth committee of CSES, a technical expert of CATARC Kunming Center, Excellent advisor of master's thesis from KUST, et al.
